SINOPSIS

Što povezuje mornaričke oficire u morima južnog Antarktika, obitelj u Wilmingtonu, u Sjevernoj Karolini, Oceanografski institut u Montereyu te ribare u Meksičkom zaljevu? Upravo u njihovim rukama leži sudbina našeg svijeta, samo što to još ne znaju ni oni sami - svi će oni biti među prvima koji će doći u kontakt s novim oblikom morskog života. Iako je riječ o, na prvi pogled, prekrasnim stvorenjima s kojima se djeca žele igrati, radi se o mnogo opasnijoj pojavi s mogućim tragičnim posljedicama.
