SINOPSIS

Inspired by the work of Alistair MacLean, this leaden caper is forced by budgetary constraint to serve up an uninvolving combination of hi-tech gadgetry and bruising stuntwork. Not to be confused with the Elizabeth Taylor thriller or either of the two versions of Ole Bornedal's morgue chiller, this sub-007 adventure was Pierce Brosnan's last assignment before his debut as James Bond. Reprising the role of Mike Graham that he had previously played in Death Train, Brosnan turns art detective in a bid to recover the eponymous Rembrandt painting before it falls into the clutches of a Hong Kong crime lord.
