SINOPSIS
Three Belfast buddies find themselves in deep financial water after ripping off a crooked bookie in this cheeky Irish road movie comedy from Shrooms director Paddy Breathnach. Allen Leech, Ciaran Nolan and Tom Jordan Murphy are coarsely amusing as the hapless chancers who consequently flee south with an under-performing greyhound in the vain hope that the dog will become a sporting goldmine. Though the watchable tale has a similar theme and enjoyably irreverent tone to Breathnach's earlier I Went Down, it's undermined by tired visuals and a sense of déjà vu. The end result is colourful but lacking in depth and imagination, with boundless energy replacing innovation in every madcap frame.
