Ciao Darwin

Ciao Darwin is a TV show Italian genre variety and game show, which has aired for many years in prime time on Channel 5 with the conduct of Paul Bonolis and his long-time assistant Luca Laurenti .

The program was born in 1998 from an idea of Paolo Bonolis and Stefano Magnaghi to make two teams that represent two antithetical human categories that compete to find out which of the two is stronger, in accordance with the evolutionary theory of Charles Darwin.

The program sees the participation of Mother Nature, a very beautiful and statuesque girl (usually a model) who spins a ball or a globe to randomly draw the competitors who have to face the various tests.

The program has often been subject to criticism and accusations of being "trashy". This I believe to be true.
