Part 1: In a bomb attack in the middle of Berlin, Frank Hennings loses his wife and daughter. In his pain, the retired administrator focuses on only one goal: revenge. When the investigations are dropped prematurely, he travels to Morocco on his own and follows in the footsteps of Sharif Nader, the suspected mastermind behind the assassination. In order to get close to Nader unhindered, he applies with forged papers to become a private tutor for his 13-year-old daughter Yasmin. While teaching the girl in a heavily guarded house, Hennings waits for a good opportunity to shoot her father. Hennings knows that his every move is being watched closely by Nader and his security guards and that he has little time. When his cover is almost blown, Nader's backers thwart his plan. A bloodbath ensues, from which Hennings and Yasmin manage to escape together at the last second. On the run, the girl realizes who Hennings really is: the man who wanted to murder her father to avenge something she couldn't have done. Part 2: Hennings and Yasmin only narrowly escape the bloodbath in their father's house. It quickly becomes clear that they cannot trust anyone and are not safe anywhere. Their faces are broadcast on Moroccan television and they are not only wanted by the local police, but also by the German Federal Intelligence Service. Yasmin knows that she can only survive if she accepts the help of the man who wanted to murder her father. A crucial test for the young girl. Her father's opponents suspect that she knows a lot about his arms deals and is in possession of his notebook, in which names and delivery dates are assumed. How explosive these names could be for German politicians becomes clear to Hennings when he talks to his old friend and ex-colleague at the BKA headquarters. Everyone involved seems to be playing a double game. Hennings and Yasmin are just a small building block in this structure and were just in the wrong place at the wrong time, but that could cost them their lives. Yasmin and Hennings must confront their conscience and their guilt and decide whether revenge or forgiveness are the values to guide their lives.
