Eddie is the king of Sunshine, coaching the team on a winning streak into the finals - keeping Jacob’s US College basketball dream alive. Their relationship turns sour, however, when Jacob receives a VHS tapefrom an anonymous sender - the tape’s contents reveal Eddie from his playing days on a racist tirade witha black opponent. A deeply hurt, but pragmatic Jacob elects not to tell his teammates. Eddie’s lack ofremorse weighs heavily on a betrayed Jacob, affecting his ability to perform at his best.
