'Segundo Sol' takes place in Bahia, in Northeastern Brazil, and tells the saga of Luzia, a simple, hard-working woman who has her life upended after falling in love with Beto Falcão. Throughout the telenovela, she will go a long way to rewrite her own story and bring back together her family, which was torn apart by a series of plots devised by Karola, Beto's girlfriend, and Laureta, a powerful figure in the region's night life.
